Fill up your tank and write down the odometer reading. Then drive around and don't add or remove any fuel from the tank. When it's time to refuel make a note of the odometer reading again. Enter the two readings into the calculator along with the quantity of fuel that was required to fill the tank again. The calculator will grind all the numbers and do all the conversions. You can not hurt the spreadsheet as all the cells are protected except the ones you will need to change for your circumstances. You must have your fuel type entered in the C4 cell. You can use the links to find the current exchange rate and the current price of fuel.
